Blurred Fibre brings together the energy of Britpop and alternative pop-rock with sharp observation, dry humour and an unmistakably conversational voice.
Driven by crunchy guitars, melodic bass lines, energetic drums and memorable hooks, the songs explore the absurdities and contradictions of everyday life. From technology that makes simple things complicated to the strange rituals of human behaviour, there's usually something worth questioning, and frequently something worth laughing about.
But the humour isn't always the whole story. Beneath the sarcasm and raised eyebrows lies an interest in the people behind the behaviour, and the recognition that life is rarely as straightforward as it appears.

Morning traffic becomes a race with no first place. Minutes saved feed the working day, and the observer catches their own reflection in the rush. A journey to the office ends in a meeting with people elsewhere, before the song makes room for those whose work still needs them there. Dry humour and self-recognition leave one question hanging: what did that improve?
